John Mongiovi is a Board Certified Hypnotist and Certified Instructor of hypnotism. He helps people overcome unwanted habits, fears and anxieties, and maximize performance in business, athletics and the arts.

John was licensed and certified in 2004 by the State of Indiana Medical Licensing Board Hypnotist Committee. He is Board Certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists and is authorized to provide training and certification in hypnotism.

John has also trained in Europe in the traditional practices of magnetism: mesmerism, fascination, and presence. In Rome he was certified as an Expert Magnetist and Advanced Non Verbal Hypnotist by Dr. Marco Paret, the world's foremost expert in non-verbal hypnotism. John is also a Certified Trainer in these methods.

John earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Rollins College and a M.M. in music theory from the University of South Florida. For 25 years he worked for the personal and professional development of musicians, speaking at hundreds of colleges, universities, and conservatories throughout the United States. He has been a guest faculty member of the Sherrill Milnes VOICE programs, and a co-organizer and presenter with NYU Steinhardt. He provides ongoing education to groups and organizations in New York as a Never Stop Learning (NSL) Expert.
